Tulane's cross country squad got their season started on the right foot, as both the men and the women scored three wins a piece by defeating UNO, Nicholls State and Southeastern Louisiana at the UNO XC Relay on Friday night at Lake Oaks Park.

Tulane's cross country opened their season with a strong performance, as they competed against three local programs at the UNO XC Relay, hosted by the University of New Orleans near the Lakefront campus.

With one week of practice under their belt, the Tulane cross country program is set to compete in their first meet of the season on Friday, as they travel across town for the UNO XC Relay Opener, hosted by the University of New Orleans.

With classes and the 2013 season just right around the corner, the Tulane Green Wave cross country program reported to the Wilson Center on the Uptown campus on Friday morning for the first time as a team this season.

Coming off one of the best years in recent memory, the Tulane track and field and cross country program has announced its signing class for the upcoming season, adding a total of ten athletes to the Green Wave family.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association announced that the 2012 Tulane women's cross country team has earned All-Academic Status for their achievements in the classroom and in their sport.
